Information Advice and Guidance (IAG)

About Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)

Information Advice and Guidance is central to our service. We are committed to helping you overcome any barriers to learning and supporting you to make realistic and well-informed choices.

Our experienced and qualified IAG officers will help you to explore your options and progress on your own pathway to further learning and employment opportunities.

We can also support you to address barriers that prevent progression, offering early intervention and support in the form of one to one or group work.

Learner voice

We believe learner voice is key to the development, delivery, management and improvement of our service. We want you to be involved in shaping your educational experiences with us so we can offer you the best learning experience.

Assessments

Assessing learners before courses helps to place you in the most appropriate level of class. It also gives you and your tutor a record of skills before the course starts.

End of course evaluations

Our evaluations are designed to help us gather information about how far you have travelled with your learning. We also cover important topics such as your learning experience and keeping you safe.
