Why join our ESOL courses?

These courses are for you if your first language is not English. You will develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in the English language.

You can access a range of courses from beginners through to advanced. Our ESOL courses will provide you with the skills and confidence to access services such as:

  • Speaking to your doctor
  • Support your children at school
  • Speaking to your neighbours
  • Becoming an active citizen in your community and city
  • Applying for jobs/voluntary work
  • Getting a qualification

Where might this course lead you to next?

  • You can progress through our ESOL courses or then onto English and maths courses
  • You could move onto our Family Learning courses
